100% paper-based, mixed media collage. 9x12 on mixed media paper. Figure shapes cut out from old vintage book covers. Sectional constructed from antique receipts.

Paper cut figures (cut from white, black, yellow, and red card stock) create a fun "resilience" theme for this editorial illustration. 2-page spread. Tabloid size (11x17).

Details: Handmade from varying textiles, paints, paper cuts, and recycled materials.
WORK IN PROGRESS. Originally a 100% paper-based art collage. This digital collage began with paper, cut outs, acrylic paints, and gesso before its computer import. After artwork was scanned and imported, I modified colors and layered in the fonts. HOWEVER, I'm in the process of reworking this art collage with word cut outs and hand-lettering that will replace computer fonts. 2-page spread; 10 x 7 with landscape orientation.
Mixed media collage. Created with vintage lace trimmings, acrylic paints, cut photographs, fabrics, gesso, markers, and strips of masking tape for adding texture. 5x7 on Kraft paper.
